Attempting to stay one step ahead in the fashion scene, nearly a dozen designers convened for a weekend-long fashion extravaganza beginning at Cobo in Detroit on Friday and moving to Burn Rubber in Royal Oak Saturday. Designers included Fli Pelican, Lovely Beast, District 81, Idriss, Ooche Wear, Rock Royalty and Fanciee Clothing.

“The style of the show is urban vintage,” says clothing designer Tyna “Fanciee” Logan, who showcased her designs for the first time this weekend. “Most of the pieces are inspired from classic vintage pieces.”
