Welcome to Comic-Con, a yearly celebration of everything the popular kids at your high school used to tease you about. For four dizzying days, the San Diego Convention Center becomes a mecca for the year's most buzzworthy video games ("The Force Unleashed"! "LittleBigPlanet"! ), TV series ("Fringe"! "Dollhouse"!), movies ("Watchmen"! Twilight"!) and comics (Pow! Bam!). But mostly, Comic-Con is the one time each year a grown man can don a homemade cape, squeeze into a pair of shiny gold tights and get the attention, adoration and respect he so richly deserves.
