When you're off living in your new city,
you're eventually going to find a place just like Oslo and think, "Wow, this is why I
moved! There's no place like this in Detroit
..." and you'll be wrong. A sleek sushi bar upstairs and cutting edge
electro club down, this spot has been hot since it opened in 2004. It went
through a rough patch, temporarily closing the doors for a bit last year, but
now Oslo's back
and good as ever. For similar slick sushi fun, you could also jump to the new
cool kid on the block, Ronin, in Royal Oak, but Oslo is the original
downtempo/upscale innovator.
