If you think a chilly December in the D is too late in the season for a hot pool party, think again. Wave in 2009 from a balcony room overlooking the outdoor pool at the Crowne Plaza in Novi before taking a dip in the indoor pool. The party features a DJ battle with DJs Boji from DMixEntertainment, Pannos, Flexx and Paul Martindale; a live violinist, guitarist and percussionist; fire eaters, karaoke and stilt walkers. There will also be hors d’oeuvres and a late-night buffet.to help keep your energy up until the ball comes down. There will be a midnight toast from a champagne fountain. A continental breakfast will be available until 1 p.m. New Year’s Day.
