There she is. Transgender Miss Universe Canada contestant Jenna Talackova.

Talackova, 23, who underwent gender-reassignment surgery when she was 19, worked the stage Thursday in Toronto as part of the Miss Universe Canada competition preliminary rounds.

She was originally disqualified from the contest because she was not a "naturally born female." But after the news hit, Donald Trump, owner of the Miss Universe organization, reinstated her.

According to Toronto's Star.com, some friends and relatives of rival contestants are complaining that Talackova and her gender news is unfairly stealing the spotlight from the other 61 beauties.

A winner will be crowned Saturday.
