Amid rehearsals for her new Broadway show, Dead Accounts, Katie Holmes stepped out in Manhattan Monday night. And she stepped up.
At the launch party for Kohl's Narciso Rodriguez collection, Holmes swapped her standard street-style flats for a pair of Loeffler Randall nude pumps.
Though no piece in the collection costs more than $150, Holmes looked like a million bucks — her black dress, available Nov. 7 to the rest of us, retails for a mere $70.
Also gracing the red carpet (and modeling the low-cost looks): Emma Roberts, in a $60 colorblocked frock, and Julianna Margulies, whose black-and-white sheath goes for $64.
Tweeted Roberts: "This collection is amazing and crazy affordable."
