Steampunk & Victorian Ball: Travelers on the Fabric of Time
Steampunk is the means whereby the scientific wonders of our present age are beautifully welded to the design schemes of a somewhat slower (and somewhat more civilized) period in history - the 19th-century that saw Victoria on her throne and a still young America gilded and polished to a bright luster. That is what you saw at District VII Saturday when a local band of hackers and aesthetes became Travelers on the Fabric of Time. -- Robert del Valle
