Party pics: Woody's Diner in Royal Oak
Very few places in Royal Oak -- let alone metro Detroit -- have the laid-back spirit and cool vibe that radiates the way Woody's Diner on 5th Avenue does. The (refreshingly) unpretentious multi-level party giant has been a staple for years and years, but these days the menu keeps getting better and better (yes, those ribs were delicious!) and the atmosphere keeps getting hotter and hotter. Metromix stopped by on Friday the 13th for the official grand opening of the new third-level deck. The weather that night started scary, but the evening was a jam-packed festival of fun under the stars. Good times, as always, at Woody's.
