Party pics: Jump at the Emerald
A new monthly party series made its debut at the Emerald Theatre in Mount Clemens when “Jump” took over the historic Macomb County venue. “Jump” is a monthly touring club event that features some of metro Detroit’s best DJs spinning all genres of dance music. For the opening event, FM 98 WJLB’s DJ Jinx was behind the turntables. His performance dished up a ground shaking set of Ghettotech classics mixed into tracks by artists ranging from Big Sean to Skrillex. Across the stage percussionist Rod Batayeh added rhythms from his eclectic set of instruments. All the while go-go dancers kept the crowd hyped up and on their feet.
