Party pics: Grand opening of Penny Black
The old charm of the former Rochester Post Office building remains in the distressed walls, black acid-stained concrete floors and faux crackle paint at the new Penny Black whose grand opening celebration was held Thursday.
The downtown Rochester bar and Southwest-themed restaurant, which opened November 23, was named after a postage stamp the post office carried and boosts somewhat of a split personality -- dining room on one side and bar on the other.
