Party pics: Detroit Santarchy 2011
Like Christmas, Santarchy comes but once a year. But as traditional, sexy and goth Santas filled Detroit bars Saturday, visions of Kris Kringle lingered far past last call. The 12-year-old Santarchy bar crawl began at the Detroit Gaelic League and included Dirty Trick on Woodward and Adams, Harry's, Comet Bar, Nancy Whiskey's, Lager House, Corktown Tavern, Casey's and the Works. Between 1,000 and 1,500 Santas danced and painted the city red during the annual crawl.
