Just how much rock can the Motor City take? Detroit Rock City Nightclub intends to find out. Positioning itself to be an upscale rock bar for the 25 and up “urban, cosmopolitan set,” according to host Jasmin Medar, D Rock City transforms the Plan B scene into a rocker's paradise. Music and rock videos run from 8-10 p.m. before live bands (local and national) take the stage from 10-11:30 p.m. Mash up DJs keep the party going until close, and drinks are $2 until 10 p.m.
