Fun and cancer typically don’t go hand in hand, but Saturday in downtown Ferndale, a countrified pub crawl helped lighten the mood with stops at Woodward Avenue Brewers, the Emory, the Post Bar, Como’s and Dino’s Lounge. All proceeds from the crawl went directly to Camp Casey, a horse camp for kids with cancer which was founded in 2003 and offers free programs to children with cancer and their families.
