Stay & Play Social Club and TheMittenState.com teamed up for a Mixers that Matter event at the Whitney Tuesday to support Cultural Concierge. The non-profit program in the Eastern Market is part of the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan and helps art and culture organizations function with more efficiency. Cultural Concierge works with institutes like the DIA, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Zoo and more.
Mixer attendees received a $25 Restaurant.com gift certificate and light hors o'euvres as they browsed Cultural Concierge literature and t-shirts by the Mitten State, a company founded in October by Mike O’Rourke and Will Bransdorfer who donate a portion of all sales to various organizations in the state.
The next Stay & Play Social Club event will be held Friday at the Post Bar in Novi.
