First Look: Motor City Wine
While not officialy open yet, one of Detroit's newest wine retail shops, Motor City Wine, held its second event Friday -- a holiday wine tasting. The first event was held a week before Thanksgiving and was such a success that MCW Owners David Armin-Parcells and Marc Szymanki decided to host an additional tasting.
Nestled in a quaint space above Eph’s in downtown Detroit, MCW will offer approximately 120 different varieties of wine when it officially opens at a date that's yet to be determined, though Armin-Parcells ensures Metromix that it will be sometime in the next month (fingers crossed).
When MCW opens there will be seating for 45 people, and wine bottles may be purchased to drink on premise for a $5 bottle fee. MCW will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with limited hours on Saturday.
