First Look: Joe's Backyard Bar BQ
Just over a month old, Joe's Backyard Bar BQ in Shelby Township held its grand opening Friday to showcase the tiki-style bar, patio and sandy volleyball courts. Live music, which will be held Fridays and Saturdays, kept guests entertained by a stone fireplace complete with a roaring fire, and a trickling waterfall bathed in red and green added an oasis feel to the night.
The new outdoor space "rounds out the whole entertainment experience," says Brian Siegel, a partial owner of the Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse. "We serve all ages, all color. You can see everybody here."
