Detroiter Bar
655 Beaubien, DetroitLocated next door to the Beaubien Street Saloon, the Detroiter is a great place to come for drinks and eats. Serving mostly bar food, it also has some Greektown classics, like flaming cheese for $5.95, which is the price of most of its appetizers and sandwiches. With games like pinball and Megatouch, the Detroiter provides patrons the option of self-entertainment. There also is a digital jukebox. The scene inside is nothing glamorous -- more laid-back then anything else -- but the friendly service goes a long way in making the Detroiter a popular spot to go before the game. --Sara Kandel
