As bachelorette parties flooded Novi, MBarGo hosted the San Francisco-based Vau de Vire Society -- an avant-cabaret community spawned from the dance and circus San Francisco sub-culture. Founded in 1997 by husband and wife team Mike and Shannon Gaines, Vau de Vire is a dance-driven, theatrical-driven company which Saturday focused on a Garden of Eden-themed performance as dancers moved around in fig-covered costumes while flipping, twirling and welding swords.
