The blast-from-the-past 80s and 90s Funky Fresh Party at the Shelter was one of the flyest places to be. Featuring Detroit’s own Dwele, Suga Rae of 102.7 FM hosted the throwback event. DJ Jewels Baby held down the ones and twos playing classics like Jodeci and MC Hammer. Dwele took over the turntables and continued the old-school hits while the club goers battled to show who was the best throwback dancer. A live performance by Monica Blaire was icing on the cake for the classic experience.
