Detroit Tigers' all star Curtis Granderson wined and dine guests at his fund-raiser and bachelor auction at Big Rock Chop House Thursday night. Benefiting his Grand Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization built in 2008 that helps establish baseball programs and gives school supplies to needy kids, the A-list event also included a sampling of some 300 wines from around the globe. There was even an auction for a private dinner for two with Granderson or his teammates Edwin Jackson or Ryan Perry to the highest bidder. Skipper Jim Leyland even showed his stripes during the entertaining appearance. Jeff Dye, the third-place finisher in Season 6 of NBC’s "Last Comic Standing, performed a stand-up set, too.
