While B & E's may not have the most eye-catching exterior, but take a look at its 75-foot bar, which runs the length of its interior. It's a can't miss. A neighborhood bar with cheap drink specials, it's a friendly atmosphere and clean bathrooms.

While its exterior may not be the most eye-catching, Bob and Elmer's features a 75-foot polished bar that runs the length of its interior. Located about a mile outside of downtown Pontiac, the small, neighborhood bar offers cheap drinks, a friendly environment and -- never to be underestimated -- clean restrooms. Saturdays is Ladies Day, featuring drink specials for women, and on Wednesdays, all canned beers are $1 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Bar also features a shuffleboard, dartboard and jukebox. -- Paul Gully
