Rolling Stone heralded the Stick as one of Detroit's best live-music venues. It is part of the Majestic Theatre Complex, which also houses a cafe, bowling alley, theater and a pizza joint. With a curved, glitter-top bar, a stage and 10 pool tables, this downtown hipster haven has played host to everyone from the White Stripes to Mudhoney. --Rachel May
