Blind Pig
- 208 S. First
- Ann Arbor, MI 48104
- 734-996-8555
Named after a slang term for police officers that had been bribed by speakeasy proprietors during the prohibition era of the 1920s, this college crowd hangout near the campus of the University of Michigan is known for its offering of live music and colorful crowd of concertgoers. Nirvana once played here, as did Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon, which speaks volumes of cool for this long-standing and eccentric nightclub. --Rachel May
