It's one of the standards for dance floor action in Royal Oak, with hundreds of people getting down to DJs throwing some sick techno. When not stepping, kick it freestyle in a lounge area or chill on the couch. Comprehensive in its music rotation -- think '80s/'90s/obscurely hip -- the dance floor is the focal point in this high-energy party den. The crowd is predominantly twentysomethings and some into their 30s, but not much older than that. Rotating drink specials (some as affordable as $1 Jager Bombs and $1.25 well drinks) keep this crowd plenty lubricated. A fun and sexy waitstaff plays punk rock and alternative dress-up (dyed hair, fishnets), while the Luna Dancers keep the crowd moving. No cover before 10 p.m., $3 after 10 p.m.; $5 cover on Fridays.
