Studded with pool tables and televisions everywhere you turn, the Rochester Mills Beer Co. brings a comfortably, familiar element to Rochester bar life. Tucked inside a former knitting mill on Water Street, "The Mills" (as it's known by locals) retains a historic look, mixing wood floors with industrial-style, rafter ceilings to create an atmosphere that is both inviting and accommodating to groups of all ages and sizes. This private party-friendly restaurant and bar serves up to 20 beers on tap daily - about a dozen of which are brewed in house - in addition to a full menu of American-style cuisine. --Kelly Kozlowski
