Ring the bell
Get your bikinis ready and prepare to put up a fight – for the title of ring girl that is.

For the next three Wednesdays, Wild Woody’s will hold a ring girl competition to find five to seven girls who have the winning combo to carry the round numbers and sit ringside for the Leo Nolan vs. Raphael Butler fight at the DeCarlo’s Banquet & Convention Center off of Mound Road in Warren.

Nolan, a Detroit-born US heavyweight boxer, will be a judge during the final round of competition on Oct. 8, says Shari Kamerschen, who has organized the contest for the last seven years. The fight is Oct. 10.

Audience participation will decide which ladies make it to the final round based on swim suit and club wear competitions.

But, the competition isn't just for the ladies. The guy who shows off his sexiest boxers over the three-week competition will have a chance to win a ring-side party for himself and a group of friends.

Priscilla’s, a spicy lingerie franchise, will sponsor the event and be on hand at Wild Woody’s with games and give aways. Fight tickets will also be given away as part of the promotion.

Ladies may register for the contest between 9 and 9:30 p.m. at Wild Woody’s. Drink specials include $3 you call its.

9 p.m. Wednesday, Wild Woody’s Chill & Grill, 32500 Gratiot, Roseville, 586.294.5331.

K-Fed in the house
A handful of ladies will get to party like rockstars at the Little Black Dress party hosted by Brit Brit's ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

"We're definitely suggesting every girl bust out that little black dress because just about every girl has one," says Promoter Angelia Cyr a.k.a. Bella Blue.

About 30 women who entered a competition to attend a Boston party next week will be allowed in MBarGo's VIP area to schmooze with Federline, a former dancer, former husband and current baby-daddy of four. The eight winners will be chosen from that group to fly on a private jet to the party next week, Cyr says.

Music will be provided by Chicago’s DJ Kalendr and Jordn V.

10 p.m. Friday, MBarGo, 44325 12 Mile Rd., Novi, 248.374.3420. $10, 21+

Noir Leather’s Silver Anniversary
It’s been a quarter of a century since the Royal Oak go-to spot for erotic clothing and bondage material opened its doors. This Saturday, Noir Leather is celebrating its silver anniversary with a whip-smart blowout bash at the Crofoot in Pontiac with bands, entertainers, great fashion and an erotic fetish performance.

“It feels amazing to be celebrating 25 years of business in Royal Oak,” says Noir Leather Owner Keith Howarth. “I never dreamed that the success of Noir would be so long term. I'm extremely proud to say that my business has survived, even during tough economical circumstances.”

Concerts and other regular events, including the legendary Hellbound promotional series, have helped Noir Leather stay on people’s minds even where they’re not searching for the perfect pair of leather pants.

“I attribute great determination, hard work and surrounding myself with positive influences and creative local artists as contributors to Noir's success,” Howarth says. “I look to my employees for fresh ideas and new ways of doing things. My wife Kat is also a contributor for my success. She is wildly supportive.”

Expect performances by Crud, Car City Callgirls, Creepy Clyde, Love Masters, Satori Circus, Marco Polio and more. Skin and Bones, Souljacket and Tim TV of Fire Fabulon will perform on the patio stage.

8 p.m. Saturday, the Crofoot Ballroom, 1 S. Saginaw, Pontiac, 248.858.9333. $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Oktoberfest
Think of it as a pub crawl with an educational twist.

For the first time this year, Inside Detroit, an organization that attempts to educate the public about Detroit’s history, culture and livability through customized tours, will host an Oktoberfest bar tour in downtown Detroit.

We hope that by coming on this pub crawl - we actually like to call them bar tours because we introduce people to the owners and give them a tour as we go from place to place - people will discover local beer, realize how walkable downtown really is and meet folks in the community who love owning businesses and/or living downtown,” says Jeanette Pierce, one of the co-founders of Inside Detroit. “This bar tour will celebrate Oktoberfest by taking you inside four local bars that serve and promote good beer.”

The tour kicks off at Foran’s Irish Pub Saturday where participants will get free beer samples and talk suds with the crew at Foran's. Drink discounts will also be available for those not wanting hops. The walking tour continues to the Park Bar, Detroit Beer Company and Harbor House.

Participants will receive a Detroit bar/restaurant checklist that shows “you don't need to go to Chicago or New York to experience a vibrant city,” Pierce says.

Pre-sale tickets are available at insidedetroit.org.

8 p.m.- midnight, Saturday, Foran’s Irish Pub, 612  Woodward, Detroit. 313.961.3043. $15 pre-sale, $20 at the door. 21+
