The Henry Ford began as one man's vision to document the genius of ordinary people by preserving the objects they used in the course of their everyday lives. This history destination brings the American experience to life with a diverse offering of exhibits, demonstrations, programs and re-enactments. The permanent exhibit, "With Liberty and Justice for All," features one of only three handwritten copies of the 13th Amendment signed by Abraham Lincoln. Another permanent exhibit, "Heroes of the Sky," explores the history of flight in America.
