Detroit-- Midtown

The Midtown area offers a multitude of sights and cultural activities for visitors. The area is home to museums such as the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA), the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Historical Museum, MOCAD and the Detroit Science Center as well as film and performance art theatres and numerous restaurants and bars. Annual community events include 8 Days in June presented by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Concert of Colors, the Detroit Festival of the Arts, Dally in the Alley, Noel Night, The Midtown Tour and the Cultural Center Tour. --Andrea K.
